Pat Cadam and Nick Rothman of Green Gears had the opportunity to meet Congressman John Garamendi at the opening of a Livermore technology center. Garamendi and Rothman spoke in depth about electric motor technology and rare earth metal content of various types of electric motors.
Green Gears will provide information and training to City College of San Francisco for a Hybrid and Plug in Hybrid vehicle repair course to be offered in 2011. Contract was signed on 4/27/10. A Television crew from the German equivalent of PBS filmed Brendan Cadam of Green Gears installing a Lithium battery system into a Toyota Prius. The television segment will be uploaded to this sight when available.
